"Al-Ambik®" Special Thermometer for Distillation
This high-quality bimetal thermometer, specifically designed for distillation, is crafted and finely adjusted for you by a specialized manufactory in Germany. The display accuracy corresponds to the German industrial standard Class 1, guaranteeing precision to the degree. The unencapsulated sensing tip is designed to extend 4 cm into the vapor and responds particularly quickly to any changes in temperature. The materials used are certified and 100% lead-free, making it suitable for organic distillates. The thermometer is perfect for distillation, with an accurate display range from 0° to 100°C, especially precise in the range between 70° and 90°C—exactly what is needed for perfectly measuring vapor temperature during distillation.
The thermometer can be mounted on any still and kettle and is excellent for self-installation. It comes complete with high-quality mounting materials (copper washers & brass fitting). For installation, you only need to drill a 7.5 or 8 mm hole, insert the sensing tip, and secure the thermometer using the included copper washers and brass screw.
Note: If you order the thermometer together with a still from us, we will mount it at the best possible location directly at our warehouse. We recommend this thermometer for all stills up to 30 liters. For larger stills, we recommend the larger 6 cm version with the 10 cm sensing tip.
