CopperGarden Copper Pot 8 liters hammered with handles & lid

This beautiful rustic hammered "CopperGarden®" universal pot made of raw copper will surely bring you much joy, especially once you become familiar with the special properties of raw copper. Copper can do so much more than other materials. In addition to its quick heat-up and cool-down capabilities, a copper pot like this offers all the other advantages of raw copper.

Copper is antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antimagnetic. Due to its enzymatic properties, it promotes faster coagulation of milk or gelling of fruits without the need for pectin. Furthermore, raw copper has catalytic properties and can bind unpleasant flavors like hydrogen sulfide and harmful substances like cyanide. For these reasons, raw copper pots are still preferred for beer brewing (as brewing kettles), cheese making (as cheese vats), and preserving jams and jellies. Of course, you can also use it to cook pasta and dumplings or sterilize canning jars.

Although these copper pots are beautiful and would also make great decoration pieces, they were forged for proper cooking. This copper pot is a very robust and sustainable product, suitable for daily use in your kitchen. Copper as a material is almost indestructible, and such a pot can serve you well for generations. If you want to restore its original copper shine, you can polish it even after 50 years as if it were brand new. Copper is amazing.

Copper pot made of raw copper

This pot is made of raw, untreated copper and is perfect for cheese making as a cheese vat, as well as for all other dairy and dairy substitute products, due to the unique properties of copper. Cheese coagulates faster and more stably in a copper pot. The pot also works well for making jams, as they gel better in copper, retain their color longer, have a more harmonious aroma, and last longer. The properties of copper are highly valued in beer brewing as well, due to its direct heat conduction (it cools down faster). Of course, various types of pasta and dumplings can also be cooked in this pot.

An uncoated copper pot is highly temperature resistant and can also be used for roasting nuts, coffee, or caramelizing almonds. However, it's important to note that copper can deform at temperatures of around 250 degrees Celsius and may no longer provide full contact on an electric cooktop or ceramic glass surface. We recommend combining these copper pots with a gas stove, as then the pot can be heated to much higher temperatures without being damaged.

When cooking stews and other dishes, please never leave the food in the pot. You can cook whatever you want in the pot, but we recommend serving the dishes directly after preparation or transferring them to bowls or other appropriate containers. In the presence of oxygen, acid, and salt, verdigris may form, which tastes unpleasant and is immediately eliminated by the body. Verdigris is easy to recognize and remove, but it is better not to consume it. If you plan to cook "regular" dishes in a copper pot more often, we recommend using pots coated with tin. The copper pot offered here is untreated and offers all the advantages of pure copper that we desire in many cooking methods.

Copper is a living material and will change color with each use. We recommend allowing the pot to age until it acquires a beautiful dark brown patina. Copper naturally protects itself from oxidation with this patina. If you prefer a high-gloss appearance, you can polish the pot at any time and restore its original shine.

Copper is the metal of love, and you will quickly get to know and love your pots. Cooking with copper is fun.
