"CopperGarden®" Copper Kettle / Witch's Cauldron 10 Liters
A very beautiful rustic and extremely sturdy copper kettle (witch's cauldron) with a lid and a forged iron suspension and handle. The classic from the good old days, ideal for hanging over an open fireplace or fire pit. Thanks to the flattened bottom, you can also use the kettle on a regular gas or electric stove.
Kettles of this kind are still used today for many traditional dishes, such as the famous French fish soup Bouillabaisse or Galician squid stew. But it is also perfect for melting chocolate or making jams and can be used for all kinds of sweet, dairy, or one-pot dishes. Surely, many witches would be proud to own such a beautiful kettle.
NOTE: Here, we offer you a 10-liter copper kettle set with a lid. The ladle shown does not belong to it, but we would recommend it to you as an accessory.

Important Notes about Copper

This copper kettle has been hand-forged for you using pure copper and equipped with a sturdy wrought iron suspension.

The kettle comes with a flat bottom and can also be used on an electric hot plate. If you cook electrically with this kettle, be careful not to overheat the copper.

Copper starts working at temperatures of 250 degrees. This could cause the bottom to warp and lose contact with the hot plate.

If you cook with gas, on a fire, or directly in the embers, you can heat the kettle much further. Copper remains stable up to approximately 1,000 degrees. However, we still recommend that you never heat the kettle empty and always add oil or water in a timely manner.

Due to the properties of bare copper, you can perfectly make jam, cheese, or roasted almonds, but you should not leave finished cooked food in the kettle.

If you also want to serve from the kettle or use the kettle for all foods like a regular cooking pot, we recommend selecting the tin-plated version. Tin is heat resistant up to 232 degrees and protects the copper as well as your food.
