"CopperGarden®" 22 cm Double Pan
A pan that couldn't be more practical. Why buy an extra lid when you can have two pans that fit together perfectly? This ingenious set of pans allows you to do more than just fry. Whether at home or in a camper van, on a stovetop, gas stove, grill, campfire, or in the oven, the possibilities have never been more versatile. You can use both pans separately, but thanks to the perfectly shaped rim, they also fit perfectly together, greatly expanding your options in the kitchen, on the grill, and while camping.
Steaming fish and vegetables, baking pizza and lasagna in the embers, flipping tortillas, serving directly at the table, or gently simmering and slow-cooking SlowFood dishes. The pan can do it all and will surely bring you a lot of joy. Thanks to the perfect thermal conductivity of copper, you can fry, steam, simmer, and simmer better than with any other pan. You will love it.
Copper is the most popular material in fine dining, as well as in camping and outdoor kitchens, for good reason. The advantages of copper are particularly noticeable in a pan.
Thanks to the food-safe non-stick coating made of pure tin, the pans are suitable for all types of food and cooking methods, and the incredible thermal conductivity of copper remains intact. Additionally, the pan is perfect for gas stovetops and so beautiful that you can serve directly from it in a high-end setting. The eye is pleased. This set is a delight for both guests and the cook.
The pan was made with great love and expertise in a small artisanal workshop within the EU. Ideal for those who think more sustainably. If needed, the pan can be repolished, reshaped, or recoated at any time. As a result, this pan is a unique lifelong investment.

However, you should be aware that copper offers extremely good thermal conductivity. The handles of the pan will become hot during use. Please be cautious and use oven mitts and trivets.

Manufacturer's Address: UNICOBRES GmbH & Co.KG, Hersfelder Strasse 16, 36132 Eiterfeld, Germany, Email: info@destillatio.com

Why Tinned Copper? Copper offers the best thermal conductivity. With a core or coating of aluminum or steel, this advantage is lost. Tinning is 100% safe, as the body simply expels tin. The thermal conductivity remains intact. If the tinning ever becomes unsightly or scratched, it can be re-tinned. This ensures that the pan remains usable for a lifetime.

Healthy Cooking in the Copper Pan

Our tip for a healthy life, durable copper cookware, and fun in the kitchen: use only good oils and add some of it to your pan right from the start. A copper pan should not be heated empty.

Important to know: At 232 degrees, the tin coating could melt. At 250 degrees, the copper can deform.

A regular stovetop can reach 400u00b0C, a ceramic glass cooktop can reach 600u00b0C, and a gas flame or fire can exceed 1,000u00b0C!

No need to worry! During regular cooking, frying, and baking, you will never reach these temperatures.

Pay attention to the smoke point. It's simple: if the oil starts smoking, it's too hot! You are harming your health long before the pan is affected.

Frying and deep frying become unhealthy above 175u00b0C! Acrylamide forms. Even high-heat oils burn off by 200u00b0C at the latest. There is only one exception: artificially highly refined sunflower oils can withstand extreme temperatures above 230u00b0C.

Add your ingredients to the pan before the oil burns! Your health will thank you, as will your pan!

One more tip: You don't need a thermometer for frying. Use a wooden spoon and insert the end into the hot oil. If fine air bubbles come out of the spoon handle, the oil is hot enough for frying and deep frying. If it starts to smoke, it's much too hot.

What if it happens anyway! If you accidentally heat your copper pan above 232u00b0C, the tin coating could melt. It is 100% safe for your health, even if it ends up in the food. Your body will simply eliminate it. If necessary, the pan can be re-tinned.

If you expose your copper pan to temperatures above 250u00b0C, it may deform. Actually not a problem, but when cooking on an electric stovetop, there may be heat transfer losses due to the warped base.

One more important thing: Copper quickly transfers all temperatures, including to the handles! Please use oven mitts or a cloth when handling the pan.

This copper pan is a very high-quality cooking tool. With a little love, it will quickly bring you much joy and accompany you for a lifetime.

Copper is a living metal and will change color with use. You can polish away these traces of life, but we recommend not doing so and allowing the pan to age with dignity.

Tin can become dull through use. The original silver shine turns into a matte gray. If you like, you can retin at any time. This will cost around 30 euros for a pan of this size, but it is not necessary as long as the coating is not heavily worn and scratched.
