"CopperGarden®" Column Still 400 Liters
This powerful and highly versatile steam distillation system with a fillable aroma column and a 400-liter boiler delivers excellent results while being easy to handle.
Application Examples: Filled with pomace, you will obtain a superb pomace spirit (Grappa / Marc / Orujo). Alternatively, fill the column with your choice of plants and the boiler with water to extract the precious essential oils and hydrolates from your plants. By filling the column with Raschig rings, stainless steel plates, glass, or minerals, you increase the resistance for the steam and can distill very pure and high-proof alcohol. This pure alcohol can then be refilled into the boiler, and if you now fill the column with herbs or fruits, the still becomes a spirit distillery.
You have nearly limitless possibilities, unmatched by any other model. Of course, the entire aroma column can be removed with just a few adjustments, allowing you to use the still like a traditional alembic for distilling aromatic fruit and grain mashes, thus producing genuine fine spirits...

Large distillation units (over 2 liters) may only be used privately for the production of essential oils, hydrolates, or water. To distill alcohol, you will need a commercial distilling license. Please discuss your options with your regional customs office. This still has a dual registration requirement. We must report the sale of this distillery to customs within three days of purchase. You must report the acquisition of the still to your responsible customs office no later than three days after delivery. According to the new Alcohol Tax Law in Germany and Austria, you may purchase distillation units with up to two liters of boiler capacity from us without registration.
