"CopperGarden®" Pistorius Basin | Size L up to 250 Liters
The Pistorius Basin from the "CopperGarden®" manufactory is custom-made to fit your still perfectly. Please note that the basin can only be supplied together with an ALEMBIC, HYDRO, or COLUMN distillery due to the coupling and various modifications to the spirit tube.
The Pistorius Basin is also known as a rectification lens and serves as a lens-shaped resistance amplifier that screws onto a compatible still. The lens can be easily attached and detached at any time, and when operated with a water supply, it significantly increases steam resistance thanks to the additional cooling. With a Pistorius Basin, you can achieve 50 to 60% alcohol in the first distillation, thereby saving the need for double distillation of rough and fine spirits.
The "CopperGarden®" rectification lens is optimally adapted to the corresponding ordered distillery and is suitable for all ALEMBIC, HYDRO, and COLUMN stills ranging from 100 to 250 liters in the size offered here.
