In this set, you receive the new ITALIA tabletop still complete with aroma sieve, an electric hot plate from "Rommelsbacher," and the already mounted "Al-Ambik®" distillation thermometer. The newly revised 2022 model offers additional accessories such as a spirit burner and hose pieces, allowing you to start distilling immediately and anywhere.

Thanks to the included large aroma sieve, the still is also suitable for steam distillation. In the latest version, the entire upper section can be filled with botanicals, making the still extremely versatile, safe, and useful.

This tabletop still is always ready for use due to its compact and well-thought-out design, making it particularly suitable for distilling alcohol, gin, spirits, as well as producing hydrosols and smaller amounts of essential oils! You can distill directly in the boiler as well as work with steam using the included aroma sieve. Thanks to the short steam pathways and the ample space for rising, you can expect high aroma extraction during alcohol distillation. Your spirits will thank you for it.

The still is particularly safe, as the distillation hat is securely fastened with three screws—accidental opening under pressure is impossible. You can safely distill wherever you want: in the garden, in the kitchen, at the dining table—even at your desk in the office. Alcohol can also be distilled at higher pressures due to lower boiling points.

The new ITALIA is a modern compact unit for both hobbyists and businesses, combining all the wishes of our customers: a boiler in a practical size, topped with a hat that allows ample space for steam to expand and carry aromas (drag distillation). In between sits a tightly closing aroma sieve, making the unit suitable for steam distillation. The cooler is tightly screwed onto the spirit pipe, and with the cooling water inlet and outlet, a proper cooling water circulation can be established.

Important Note: This still can be legally sold in Germany without registration with the authorities under the new German alcohol tax law (like all other stills with a boiler capacity of up to 2 liters) since January 1, 2018. If you are caught distilling alcohol, you must expect a fine as well as the confiscation of the distillation unit.
