LEONARDO® Distillation Unit 2 Liters for Essential Oils
The LEONARDO distillation unit is simply fantastic, to put it briefly. The above-average yield, of course, doesn't happen by itself. The steam chamber of the LEONARDO is considerably larger than that of other distillation units of the same kettle size. You can fill more plant material and consequently achieve a better yield. The LEONARDO stands stable and secure, making it an ideal kitchen appliance for your home stove.
The CopperGarden® LEONARDO distillation unit offered here is a licensed reproduction of the original LEONARDO designed by Mr. Dr. Helge Schmickl. It was first forged according to the specifications of the new German Alcohol Tax Law 2018 and then revised and perfected in 2023. In contrast to the original LEONARDO distillation unit, we provide the CopperGarden® version with an integrated copper aroma sieve as standard. The kettle itself can be filled with up to 2 liters; we recommend filling it with a maximum of 1.5 liters of water.
To prevent heavy residue, the cooling dome has been additionally tinned on the inside. For better cooling, the outlet pipe has been placed further outwards, the aroma sieve is now firmly connected to the steam chamber, and the kettle is stabilized with embossed grooves, ensuring optimal heat transfer even on electric hotplates.

Please note that this still has been specifically designed for the production of essential oils and plant waters (hydrosols) and is not intended for alcohol distillation.</p> <p>However, as a seller, we are still obligated to inform you that this still is only to be used for distilling distilled water, hydrosols, essential oils, flavors, fragrances, perfumes, fuels, food products, alchemical experiments, etc., or as a collectible. If you are caught distilling alcohol, you may face a fine and the confiscation of the still.
