LEONARDO® Still 3 Liters for Essential Oils
The Leonardo still offered here has been crafted as a licensed replica with kind permission from Dr. Helge Schmickl at the "CopperGarden®" workshop, following the guidelines of the Swiss Alcohol Administration. This ensures that you are legally safe in Switzerland. This still does not need to be registered with the Federal Alcohol Administration!
In contrast to the original LEONARDO, the revised "CopperGarden®" version comes standard with a copper aroma sieve, which can be practically used at a height of 2.6 liters in the boiler. The boiler itself can be filled with a maximum of 3 liters, in accordance with Swiss alcohol regulations. We recommend a filling quantity of 2 liters when distilling.
The "CopperGarden®" LEONARDO is completely made of copper and is undoubtedly the best choice for distilling essential oils and hydrosols at home, whether in the kitchen, hobby room, or garden. You will quickly become fond of the still and achieve excellent results. The LEONARDO in the 3-liter variant is a very forgiving still that consistently delivers the best results. The steam pathways remain particularly short, and the still offers the largest steam space in its class for inserting plant material, which alone guarantees excellent yield in the best quality. You will love it.
Important Note: This still can be legally sold in Switzerland without registration with the authorities. Please note that we, as a retailer, explicitly point out that this still may only be used for distilling distilled water, hydrosols, essential oils, flavors, fragrances, perfumes, fuels, food, for alchemical experiments, etc., or as a collectible item. If you are caught distilling alcohol, you may face a fine as well as the confiscation of the distillation unit. We would then be happy to sell you a new one.
If you wish to use the still in Austria or Germany, you must register it with customs. We also offer the same model in a 2-liter size that you can purchase from us without registration.
