"CopperGarden®" Still - 10 Liter Column Still
This 10-liter column still from the "CopperGarden®" workshop is the queen among our distilleries, as it is exceptionally equipped and can be used in a variety of ways. You can easily detach the column and distill directly from the boiler, which we especially recommend for rose petals.
With the attached aroma column, it transforms into a steam distillation apparatus capable of producing essential oils, fine aromas, and potent hydrosols in the best quality from your herbs and other plant materials. You will love it.
The still consists of a high-quality 10-liter boiler, welded together from three parts, with an attached drainage pipe for easier cleaning and for draining the residues after distillation. This includes the column, securely mounted with an adjustable holder, with a volume of approximately 4 liters and an integrated aroma sieve for layering your plant materials. On top is the fillable head with a two-part screwed spirit tube and a generously sized condenser with cooling water inlet and outlet.
The entire distillation system is made of the noble metal copper, which is known for providing the best thermal conductivity, preventing contamination, and acting as a catalyst that removes unpleasant sulfur compounds and cyanide from the vapor. Your distillates will benefit from a finer scent and aroma, as well as increased shelf life.
We recommend this still due to its size, safe and straightforward design, and well-developed functions, primarily for the sophisticated hobbyist and private use, but also as a trial still for commercial aroma distillation. The 10-liter size can still be excellently used on a regular kitchen stove or easily transported and stored. For an immediate start, we also recommend a accessory set with a pump and hoses for stills over 3 liters so that you can connect a proper cooling circuit.

This still is subject to registration in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Please order only if you can register this still at your customs office or provide a billing and shipping address in another country. Distillation systems over 2 liters may only be used privately for the production of aromas, essential oils, hydrosols, or water. Important to Know: You do not need a special permit to purchase this aroma still, but you must register the purchase with the responsible main customs office within three days after delivery. A simple letter with your address, the future location of the still, the size of the still, and a statement of what you intend to distill is sufficient. That’s all. BUT: You need a commercial distiller's license to distill alcohol. If you plan to distill alcohol, please clarify your options with the regional customs office responsible for you before purchasing. This still is subject to a dual registration requirement. We must report the sale of this still in Germany or Austria to our main customs office within three days.
