"CopperGarden®" Copper Hot Water Bottle

Revised copper hot water bottle with great functionality as a mini heater for campers, your desk, or cold feet. A multifunctional hot water bottle that is hard to find these days. We have reimagined the hot water bottle, which is really a relic from grandmother's times. A hot water bottle like this not only helps with "stomach grumbling," as seen with teacher Lämpel in "Max and Moritz," but it can also help save energy and warm up the bed just like in the old days.

This mini heater can heat or keep a small room warm. Do you have cold feet? Just place the bottle under your desk, put on some socks, and roll your feet back and forth. You will be amazed at how good it feels. The round shape of the bottle works perfectly when you roll it over a cold mattress to preheat your bed. You will love it.

The bottle is ideal as a tent heater or in a mini camper. Simply place the bottle in front of your bed or on the floor under the table. The 360° radiant heat is quite noticeable and, like a radiator in the house, is sufficient to warm up small rooms and create a cozy atmosphere. Ideally, you would heat the camper with a kettle on a gas burner and then fill the bottle with hot water to maintain the temperature. When filled with boiling water, the bottle stays hot enough to radiate into the room for up to 2 hours. Once the temperature drops below 40°C, it's advisable to use the remaining warmth as you would with a regular hot water bottle, rolling it through the bed and cuddling under the covers. Coupled with your own heating power of 70 watts, you can comfortably endure even the coldest night under a good blanket or in a sleeping bag. Together, it could even get really warm!

In the morning, it is best to start by boiling hot water for both the hot water bottle and coffee, allowing you to relax comfortably and warmly for the next few hours.

But be careful! The direct 360° heating effect is based on the thermal conductivity of copper. When you fill it with boiling water, the bottle will also be immediately 100 degrees hot! If you want to use the bottle traditionally as a hot water bottle, we recommend wrapping it in a blanket or heating the water only to 40°C.

1.5 Liter Mini Heater / Hot Water Bottle Made of Copper

This hot water bottle made of shiny copper radiates the temperature of the liquid inside immediately. There is a risk of burns at high temperatures! Please be aware that copper has the best thermal conductivity of all materials, and this bottle is designed to leverage that by converting it into heating warmth.

Can this hot water bottle be used as a heater?

Yes! We recommend filling it with hot water. The bottle will radiate the heat from the water immediately and can be used like a normal radiator in a house, tent, camper, or small rooms. Due to its round design, it is advisable to roll the heater over the bed to preheat the mattress.

Please note the high initial temperature right after filling. We recommend placing the heater on a stable surface and carefully filling it with boiling water. Hold the bottle gently with an oven mitt or cloth to avoid burns, and screw the lid on. Thanks to the eyelet on the lid, you can safely hang and transport the bottle. We recommend using the radiant heat from the hot bottle to warm up the room. For this purpose, it is best to place the bottle close to the floor with some distance from the walls. Heat rises, allowing the bottle to radiate in all directions.

Once the temperature has dropped enough that you can handle the bottle comfortably, it is advisable to use the residual heat by rolling the bottle over the mattress or placing it under the covers/in the sleeping bag. In larger rooms, the heating effect can be increased or doubled with two or three bottles.

Note that this heater, when used as a mini camper heater, has a strong heating effect initially but may cool down again depending on the outside temperature. It becomes cozily warm with a combination of heating on the gas stove, utilizing the radiant heat initially, as well as the residual heat at the end and the approximately 70 watts of heating power from the human body. In the early morning, you can easily reheat a mini camper by boiling water and coffee, and the filled bottle will help maintain the temperature for a while. Good insulation is highly recommended.

Can I also use the camper heater as a hot water bottle?

Yes, of course. It is a hot water bottle that, due to the unique properties of copper, radiates heat very directly. If you wish to use the bottle directly as a hot water bottle, we recommend filling it to a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius to avoid burns. Alternatively, you can wrap the bottle in a blanket to slightly dampen the heat radiation.
