CopperGarden® AURA24 Oven for Your Gas Stove
The name Aura says it all: Aura is the radiant goddess of the morning breeze and can bake your rolls on the gas stove in your RV, giving you a wonderfully fragrant morning. Of course, the Aura24 can be used at any time and for completely different delicacies. The number 24 represents the diameter of the baking pot. The Aura24 is the smaller version and is ideal as a camping oven or at home for 2 to 4 people.
With the CopperGarden® Aura, you can bake many different delicious treats: bread, cake, casseroles, or fish. Whatever you enjoy baking. It doesn't matter if you simply layer vegetables, potatoes, or leftover pasta from the day before and bake them with cheese, or if you create an elaborate dish. The Aura can do it all, not just on the gas flame but also in the oven, on the grill, directly on the campfire, and even on an electric hotplate if necessary.
The CopperGarden Aura is a handmade wreath made of the finest copper with a food-safe non-stick coating made of 100% pure tin. These two materials guarantee absolute safety for your health, as well as sustainable processing and the possibility of lifelong use. You only buy an Aura once, and it can be polished to a high gloss and recoated whenever needed.

What to consider when baking with the CopperGardenu00ae Aura Camping Baking Pot?

Thank you for your interest in our wonderful AURA Baking Pot. It is a sustainably made and durable product that is sure to bring you a lot of joy. However, there are a few things you should know and consider when using it.

1.) Copper conducts heat better than any other material. This is one of the great advantages of copper and also leads to the best results with the Aura Baking Pot. However, you should also be aware that the pot can get very hot. Please be sure to use oven mitts, cotton or felt towels, silicone or cork, and wood as trivets or for handling.

Important to know: The heat-resistant iron handles retain temperature longer than copper and can remain very hot for a while after use.

2.) Copper is very temperature resistant, but the pure tin of the non-stick coating can melt at 242u00b0C (468u00b0F). As long as you have completely filled the pot with dough, casserole, or something semi-liquid, the temperature can hardly climb too high. The content of the baking dish holds back the temperature, but while baking rolls, for example, large areas of copper can be exposed and heat up much higher accordingly. We usually recommend heating with a high flame and then reducing it to the lowest flame after a maximum of two minutes.

Pro tip: Placing a small bowl of hot water in the baking pot helps to achieve crispy rolls and can also help to cool the pot down when the water evaporates.

Important to know: Tin is completely safe for health! Even if you were to eat it, your body would not be able to absorb it and would simply excrete it. However, if you overheat your Aura, it could melt and, above all, change its color and structure. It melts, but also immediately attaches to the copper again. The changed surface is not a disadvantage because the wonderful non-stick properties of tin remain intact. Copper and tin are very high-quality metals, and once you understand their interaction, you can work wonders in the kitchen.

3.) We always recommend making sure that the trivet is also underneath the Aura. It prevents excessive temperatures inside and at the bottom, ensures more even heat distribution, and prevents burning on the inside. Ideally, a gas flame should initially be heated at full power to provide strong top heat, while in continuous operation, it is better to reduce the flame so that it primarily heats the chimney in the center of the pot. This way, you get a nice browned surface on the top as well.

Tip: Keep the lid on because every time you open it, you lose the top heat while the temperature at the bottom remains high. It is best to remain patient until the end of the baking time and open it only at the very end. After a few attempts, you will develop a good feel for the temperature inside and will be able to handle the Aura perfectly and bake amazing things accordingly.

If you like, you can insert a digital cooking thermometer probe into the upper holes and measure the temperatures inside (at the top).

No matter what you bake, we wish you lots of fun.
