A top quality still which is fitted with a detachable column. It can be used with or without the column for distillation. The still consists of an approx. 20 liter capacity boiler and the fitted column with approx. 8 liter volume and integrated sieve, the head (with built-in thermometer), the two-part screwable lyne arm / swan neck, and the adequately sized condenser with overflow pipe. The boiler also has a drain valve.
EXAMPLES FOR USE:
If you fill the column with fermented pomace and then fill the boiler with water, you can obtain an excellent grappa.
Or you can fill the boiler with water and the column with plants of your choice - the result is aroma oils extracted gently by steam distillation.
On the other hand, you can ferment with turbo yeast and fill the mash into boiler. If you then fill the column with stainless steel or glass beads you can increase the vapour pressure as you want, refine your distillate and obtain a high percentage neutral alcohol.
If you fill the alcohol into the boiler again and then fill the column with, for example, raspberries you will acquire an excellent raspberry-flavored spirit.
